DIY Squared is a two-part program that will help to develop confidence, self-esteem, and communication skills youth in grades 6-12.
DISCOVER “IT” YOURSELF
Discover “It” Yourself will allow youth to discover their passions while implementing a project of their choosing. Students will meet weekly on Mondays from 4pm-6pm to work collaboratively with mentors and a cohort of their peers to refine their ideas and bring them to life!
DISCOVER “IN” YOURSELF
Discover “In” Yourself is a program where youth will be given the chance to discover their inner story through the process of journaling and creative writing using the Freedom Writers curriculum. Students will meet on Tuesdays & Thursdays from 4pm-6pm with trained facilitators to discuss topics such as
self-reflection, tolerance, facing adversity, striving for success, and trust.
